2003-07-24 Decision on the bill of costs, taxed at the amount of $1,471.76, Reg, In its judgment rendered on May 22, 2003 dismissing the leave application, the Court awarded costs to the respondent. Having reviewed the response to the leave application and the bill of costs filed by the respondent, I noted that it had photocopied four Supreme Court cases in their entirety. In doing so, the respondent did not comply with its duty to minimize costs. Therefore, fees under item1(e) of the Tariff of Fees, Part I, and disbursements under item 2, Par II, will be calculated on the basis of 138 pages.

The Bill of Costs is taxed accordingly.
