Mr. Keror submitted that the police breached his s. 10(b) Charter right by failing to permit him to consult with his counsel of choice prior to his interrogation. The trial judge concluded that Mr. Keror was provided with a reasonable opportunity to contact counsel and there was no s. 10(b) Charter violation. After a trial by judge and jury, Mr. Keror was convicted of second-degree murder. The conviction appeal was dismissed.
