Mr. Sharma commenced a claim in Provincial Court seeking compensation in the amount of $1500 for damage sustained to his car while in his work parking lot. The respondent brought an application for summary dismissal, which the Provincial Court judge granted. The Provincial Court judge also dismissed Mr. Sharma’s application for disclosure of surveillance videos of the parking lot held by the respondent. The Court of Queen’s Bench dismissed Mr. Sharma’s appeal from the Provincial Court. Mr. Sharma’s application for permission to appeal to the Court of Appeal was denied.
