Dr. Haque practiced obstetrics and gynecology and was charged with 16 counts of sexual assault after patients complained following medical examinations in his office. His medical records were seized and Crown counsel disclosed records pertaining to the complainants. Dr. Haque testified and relied on his medical notes. He was convicted on 4 counts of sexual assault and acquitted on 12 counts of sexual assault. His appeal from the convictions was dismissed.
