The applicant was the general manager of a pizza restaurant. There was a fire which originated at the restaurant and spread to the adjacent inn. Experts’ reports were filed and there was testimony as to the origin and cause of the fire. The applicant was convicted of two counts of arson. The Court of Appeal dismissed the conviction appeal.
