Mr. Simonovic appealed a chambers judge’s decision pertaining to three related actions involving Workers’ Compensation benefits. The issues that arose in each appeal were different, however Mr. Simonovic argued that the chambers judge did not afford him the opportunity to be heard regarding the errors he says the respondent Alberta Workers’ Compensation Appeals Commission made.
Mr. Simonovic’s appeals and applications for judicial review were dismissed by the chambers judge. The subsequent appeal to the Court of Appeal was also dismissed.
