The applicant and his daughter received financial assistance based on need from the respondent. The applicant failed to inform the respondent that he was in receipt of another benefit. The respondent reduced the amount of financial assistance. The applicant requested a review of that decision. The applicant appealed to the Family Income Security Appeal Board. The Appeal Board dismissed the applicant’s appeal. The chambers judge held that the Appeal Board’s decision was reasonable. The applicant’s application for judicial review was dismissed. The appeal was dismissed by the Court of Appeal.
