This is an appeal and cross appeal from a decision dealing with the ownership of shares in the respondent company 5174245 Manitoba Ltd. and in 5810621 Manitoba Ltd., the amalgamation of those two corporations and claims for an oppression remedy.

The trial judge concluded that the applicant Rickvinder Brar was the beneficial owner of 175 shares. The respondents were ordered to purchase these shares at fair value.

The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal and upheld the trial judge’s determination.
