Ikramullah Khan was charged with assault with a weapon contrary to s. 267(a) of the Criminal Code, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46. His matter proceeded summarily at the Ontario Court of Justice between March and November 2020 and he was sentenced in March 2021 to 21 days in jail and 18 months of probation. Mr. Khan seeks leave to appeal his conviction, but no judgment of the Ontario Court of Appeal has been rendered on this matter.
