The applicant, Gandhi Jean Pierre, brought an application for a permanent injunction and for damages against the respondents, the Caisse Desjardins de Bordeau-Cartierville-Saint-Laurent and the Fédération des Caisses Desjardins du Québec, as well as certain employees of the Caisse, its chair, and the members of the board of directors and a legal advisor, in connection with his difficulties concerning the renewal of his hypothecary loan.
The trial judge allowed the respondents’ application to dismiss the proceedings; she dismissed Mr. Jean Pierre’s originating application and declared it abusive. The Court of Appeal dismissed Mr. Jean Pierre’s application for leave to appeal the trial decision.
