IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:

The Attorneys General intervening on constitutional questions shall be entitled to each serve and file a factum not to exceed twenty (20) pages in length, record and book of authorities, if any, on or before October 21, 2022.

Any persons wishing to intervene in this appeal must serve and file a motion for leave to intervene on or before September 12, 2022.

Any responses to the interventions, if any, must be served and filed on or before September 22, 2022.

Any replies to the responses, if any, shall be served and filed on or before September 29, 2022.

Any interveners granted leave to intervene must also serve and file their factum, record and book of authorities, if any, on or before November 14, 2022.

The terms set out in the order issued by the Chief Justice on April 20, 2022 will not be changed.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:

The Attorney General of Quebec may file the record filed with the court appealed from as the appellant’s record, pursuant to Rule 38.1 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Canada, on or before May 30, 2022.

The Attorney General of Quebec shall be entitled to serve and file an appellant factum not to exceed fourty (40) pages in length on or before May 30, 2022, and a respondent factum not to exceed twenty (20) pages in length on or before October 7, 2022.

The Attorney General of Canada shall be entitled to serve and file a single factum as appellant and respondent not to exceed sixty (60) pages in length on or before August 15, 2022.

The interveners in the Court of Appeal shall be entitled to each serve and file a factum not to exceed fourty (40) pages in length on or before September 9, 2022.

All requests respecting new interventions in the Supreme Court of Canada shall be dealt with at the same time as the motions seeking leave to intervene.
