Notice -Designation of His Majesty the King in cases where the Crown is a party: Parties are expected to designate His Majesty the King rather than Her Majesty the Queen in any new filing where the Crown is a party. For ongoing proceedings, the designation will be changed in the Supreme Court of Canada Case Management System. Parties will not be required to file amended documents.
Notice - Covid-19: The Supreme Court of Canada building is reopening to visitors, on a gradual basis, starting in October 2022. A limited number of members of the public and of the media will be permitted to access the building to observe an appeal hearing and/or conduct business with the Registry Branch.
