Ms. Anderson was convicted of tax evasion and counseling fraud. She filed a notice of appeal from the convictions and her sentence. On April 17, 2019, the Court of Appeal dismissed her appeal from the convictions for want of prosecution. Ms. Anderson filed a notice of application to have her conviction appeal reinstated and to amend her Notice of Appeal to add new grounds for appeal. The Court of Appeal dismissed the application.
