(PUBLICATION BAN IN CASE)
Thirteen women alleged that Mr. McKnight sexually assaulted them. Mr. McKnight was convicted of five counts of sexual assault and acquitted of eight counts of sexual assault. On appeal, Mr. McKnight argued that the conduct of Crown counsel at trial, while cross-examining him and defence witnesses and in closing submissions to the jury, resulted in an unfair trial and a miscarriage of justice. The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal.
