Summary

Case summaries are prepared by the Office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada (Law Branch). Please note that summaries are not provided to the Judges of the Court. They are placed on the Court file and website for information purposes only.

The applicant was charged with numerous offences, including forgery and fraud over $5000.00. The forgery charges arise from a fake identification card business. The fraud charges arise from an allegation of income tax evasion in the years 2005 to 2009. The trial judge convicted the applicant of the forgery charges and fraud over $5000.00. The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal.
