Mr. Maslehati was found guilty after trial of sexual assault. He was sentenced to an 18-month conditional sentence followed by 12 months of probation. The Court of Appeal granted leave to appeal, allowed the appeal and substituted the sentence with a 28-month term of imprisonment.
