Applicant Baljit Singh Nanhar claimed refugee protection in Canada. His refugee claim was rejected by the Refugee Protection Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. The Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) dismissed Mr. Nanhar’s appeal.
The Federal Court denied Mr. Nanhar’s application for leave to commence judicial review of the RAD’s decision, and dismissed a subsequent motion for reconsideration of that decision. The Federal Court of Appeal quashed Mr. Nanhar’s appeal and dismissed a motion requesting similar relief.
