In respect of proceedings commenced by Ms. Wood related to her release from employment with the Department of Highways and Public Works of the Government of Yukon, Ms. Wood was declared a vexatious litigant. Ms. Wood sought to commence private criminal prosecutions. The Territorial Court declined to issue process. Ms. Wood applied to the Supreme Court of Yukon under s. 774 of the Criminal Code for an order in the nature of certiorari and mandamus, seeking an order setting aside the decision denying process and remitting the Indictments back to the Territorial Court for prosecution. The Supreme Court of the Yukon Territory denied leave to have the application heard.
