The respondents represent a client who is a plaintiff in an action commenced in Toronto. The applicant is a defendant in that action. After the statement of claim in the Toronto action was served on the applicant, she issued her own claim against the respondents in a proceeding that she commenced in Cornwall. The applicant’s allegations against the respondents stem from the respondents’ representation of their client in the Toronto action. The applicant’s action was dismissed. The subsequent appeal was dismissed.
