Defendants named in actions arising from motor vehicles accidents filed a vexatious litigant application pursuant to the Judicature Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. J-2. The Court of Kings Bench issued a global court access restriction order stipulating that Dr. Bains, his spouse Dr. Kaur, and their three children must to obtain leave to initiate or continue any litigation in the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. Shaner J.A. of the Court of Appeal of Alberta dismissed an application for permission to appeal to the Court of Appeal.
